Quality assessment instrument calibration
UKCA work in many packhouses and distribution centres, providing quality control equipment and the UKAS traceable certificates required in these busy and highly regulated environments, giving our customers the peace of mind that they are well looked after and up to standard.
Our calibration department prides itself on a fast and efficient service that keeps downtime to a minimum. We calibrate all instruments used in the orchard, packhouse and distribution centre.
We stock a vast selection of QA instruments from the best manufacturers in the world, including Krüss refractometers, Guss FTA penetrometers, thermometers from ETI Ltd, large-digit temperature displays, personal safety monitors and our very own CNC-machined sizing rings.
Distribution centre services
All chilled food distribution facilities should hold an in-date certificate of accuracy for their temperature monitoring systems. UKCA have worked on many different systems, giving our customers the peace of mind that their temperature monitoring is well maintained and calibrated annually.
Routine servicing
The ideal time to carry out a service is when the stores are empty, enabling us to check and calibrate individual probes as well as overhauling the larger plant. A record of all tests carried out, including detailed results, is provided for your records.
